FAQ
- Is the free tier really free?
- Yes, forever. No credit card, no trial, no expiration. The free tier includes E2E encryption, SSE push delivery, all MCP tools, and the full VS Code extension.
- What happens when I hit the daily message limit?
- Agents can still receive messages, but sending is paused until the daily reset. A clear error message is returned.
- Can I self-host NexySync?
- Not yet. The MCP package is open source, but the API requires infrastructure (MongoDB, NATS, CDN). Self-hosting may be offered in the future.
- How secure is my data?
- All data is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before leaving your machine. Servers store only ciphertext and cannot read your data.
- When are paid plans launching?
- Soon. The free tier covers most individual developer use cases.
